Many are excited for "WWE 2K16," and as its release date approaches, there is a continuous buzz about the game online. Just recently, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, the cover of "WWE 2K16," shared his thoughts about the anticipated game.
Austin was asked by IGN at 2K's Summerslam Kickoff Event what feature of the game he thinks fans would love the most. The ass-kicking megastar's responded, "I think the fact that this is the largest roster ever assembled within the confines of a WWE game is great." He added that the player can design whatever character they wish.
"Stone Cold" also stressed that the story mode was interesting as it covered his entire career. He was blown away when he saw it because he was reminded of his experiences in wrestling.
The developers of the game have been continuously working on improving the game. Among the new additions to the roster are Adam Rose, Zack Ryder, Bo Dallas, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Brock Lesnar, Goldust, Jack Swagger, Stardust, The Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair and Tyler Breeze to name a few, What Culture has learned.
Aside from its large roster, Austin also mentioned that Jimmy Ross, the iconic voice behind his so many classic matches, would return to announce the matches in story mode. This was confirmed by WWE 2K via a tweet. Their announcement revealed that JR will return to the franchise to call the game's Showcase mode, also known as Stone Cold Steve Austin's mode.
Another new feature of the game is the "cancel pin." A couple of days ago, WWE2Kdev released a short video showing the "cancel pin." With this new feature, players will be able to cancel pins, as demonstrated by Stardust and Neville in the video. The report suggests that it's a great little detail; however, it's going to make more sense if the actions will be limited to a heel action.
In the said video, the physic's of Neville's hair is impressive. Its movements relative to the character's actions are close to realistic. In an earlier report from WWE2K16 News, among the games enhancements are its visual upgrades that aims to achieve "improved crowd variety, as well as more realistic sweat, better hair and hair physics round out the visual enhancements."
According to Softpedia, the development team at Visual Concepts and Yuke's admitted that they changed and adjusted the game's complexity to give gamers the opportunity to perform the most popular and captivating moves of their favorite wrestler.
"WWE 2K16" will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and older home consoles on October 27.
