The "Deadpool" movie released last Feb. 2016 was a huge hit with gross earnings of $782 million worldwide. Moreover, this superhero movie starring Ryan Reynolds likewise received positive response from the critics. Due to its immense success, Fox immediately ordered a sequel for the "Deadpool" movie and this time, Reynolds wants another mutant, "Wolverine" to be part of the cast.
According to Screen Crush, Ryan Reynolds are so open to the idea of a Wolverine and Deadpool reunion and wants Hugh Jackman to be part of the sequel. It can be recalled that the character of Deadpool had a part in the 2009 movie, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" but the Deadpool there proved to be a disappointment for the fans for being too different from its comic book character.
Reynolds probably see the Deadpool and Wolverine reunion in the movie as a way to redeem from the failure of their first movie together. Aside from that, the 40-year old actor also admits to be a big fan of Hugh Jackman even describing him as one of the best human being there is.
Though Ryan Reynold's wish is an exciting one for the viewers, the possibility of it happening seems blur for now. Hugh Jackman recently announced that his upcoming movie, "Logan" would be the last time he would play the character which had been strongly associated with him. Jackman has taken on the role of Wolverine since the first "X-Men movie" in 2000.
Since the "Deadpool" movie actually materialized after a test footage leaked online and went viral, Ryan Reynolds thinks his so called internet friends may be able to help him again as posted in "Entertainment Weekly." Maybe after appealing online, Hugh Jackman may be convinced to do another Wolverine film and make Reynold's wish (and many fans as well) wish come true.
