The newest update of "Battlefield 1" will show new map, grenade crossbow and new weapon. There will also be usual slate of gameplay adjustments, balances and many more.
The new map will be named as Giant's Shadow in the new update. This is only exclusive to those who purchased the game's Premium Pass DLC subscription or pre-order "Battlefield 1" according to Polygon.
They can play it a week ahead than those who did not as it will be officially available on Dec. 20, 2016. The new map is based on the Battle of the Selle. A giant crashed airship is featured on its layout. An open ground and river banks are also included in the Cateau Wassigny.
The newest gadget for the support class is the grenade crossbow. It can explode further when it is thrown. The update will also feature a spectator mode to "Battlefield 1". Both spectator modes will offer first and third person camera views that are available for everyone playing the "Battlefield".
The map has its own bird's eye view. The free cam is also movable anywhere. According to EA Dice, having a spectator mode will give players more advantage especially for community created videos. It also includes camera filters, depth of field options and adjustable third person camera.
Players can pick Standard Issue Rifles as it is the additional new game option included in the new update for "Battlefield 1". Unfortunately, the weapon does not carry optics. The option is specifically designed to bring players the gameplay that came from World War I trench warfare.
The setting of "Battlefield 1" is in Arabia, the Western Front and the Italian Alps according to Gamespot. It was launched last October for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
