Fisker's EMotion Sedan a Contender in Electric Cars; Will have 400 Mile Range and Full Self-Drive Technology?

Electric cars are slowly gaining an edge in the automotive industry, with Tesla's Model S as the top Electric car in the market. But that doesn't stop Danish car designer Henrik Fisker from eyeing for the top spot, revealing the final piece of his all-electric sports sedan: the EMotion.

According to motortrend, Henrik Fisker has been tweeting teaser photos of the EMotion on his twitter account since October while slowly revealing details about the all-electric sports sedan. Finally, the last piece of the car's design -- the rear end -- has been revealed, giving the concept car a complete 360 view.

Based from Henrik Fisker's EMotion tweets, the EMotioin will be a four-door sports sedan with butterfly doors with an aerodynamically-designed low front with a trapezoid center for radar & camera, as well as adaptive LED headlights. Inside, the EMotion will have spacious legroom for comfortable driving.

As for the rear end, the EMotion will sport wide sculptural shoulders, thin tail lights and lower rear diffusor to improve the electric sedan's aerodynamics. Fisker's latest concept photo of the sports sedan features the car with a coat of metallic chrome red paint.

Despite reports from business insider that Henrik Fisker won't be equipping the EMotion with self-driving technology, Fisker has announced that the sports sedan will offer full self-drive as an option when the EMotion is fuly developed and approved by suppliers. The sports sedan will also be using Fisker's patented a new battery tech that will allow the EMotion to drive as far as 400 miles on a single charge.

According to business insider, EMotion will be fully revealed late 2017, and chances are high that the all-electric sports sedan will be built by VLF Automotive which Henrik Fisker joined in January. Fisker is well-known in the automotive industry for designing the Aston Martin DB9, BMW Z8, and the VLF Destino V8.
