"Destiny" has just launched its Holiday Event called The Dawning. The said Holiday Event was announced to start last December 13th, but the update was just made a day ago as the Activision made it live.
According to the report made by the Polygon, "Destiny" Holiday Event which was called The Dawning has just arrived and was made live. The Dawning was already out and will be live for 3 weeks until January 3rd. The Gamespot confirmed that The Dawning was out 1PM ET, opening the game with a short update patch.
The Dawning Holiday Event was announced recently during the PlayStation Experience at the Anaheim, California last December 3rd. Activision announced The Dawning as part of the "Destiny" Holiday Event this 2016.
In, addition, The Dawning will feature an update that focus on the racing game of "Destiny" game. The Holiday Event will provide several new maps, in which Activision claimed to be twice as the number of maps within this year.
New powerful upgrades for the "Destiny" Sparrow that is available, along with numerous cosmetics to choose from. This Dawning was considered to be the biggest Holiday Event of "Destiny" since its release last 2014.
Aside from new maps and upgrade, the Venture Beat confirmed that The Dawning brings a lot of new quests, new weapons and gears. The Sparrow Racing was brought back for an exciting hover bike event. A Record Book is also accessible to track down achievements that may provide certain rewards for every completed challenge.
"Destiny" is now on version 2.5 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this means it will be free for all the console owners. The Dawning is also available for those who bought the previous expansion called the Rise of Iron, this is applicable on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
