A Solo Movie For ‘Deadshot’ Of ‘Suicide Squad’ In The Works? The Film Starring Will Smith To Have A Release Date Soon?

"Suicide Squad," a film starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Cara Delevingne, and Viola Davis may not turn out to be a critic's favorite, but it was surely a success in the box-office. As the DC comics movie earned 745 million worldwide, it is safe for producers to assume that fans are probably expecting to see more of the dangerous superhero villains on the big screen. Thus the news that Warner Bros. is developing a spinoff movie to feature the lone character of Deadshot (played by Will Smith) makes sense.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is considering the possibility of working on a project that will feature the greatest assassins in the world. If the plan does push through then it will surely thrill fans of Will Smith and "Suicide Squad."

Yet a report from Bleeding Cool reveals that fans hoping for a stand-alone movie for Deadshot should hold off celebrations just yet. This is because for now, reports about a "Deadshot" spinoff are mere speculations that are still waiting for confirmation.

Besides if confirmation will indeed be made, the release date will be not anytime soon since Warner Bros. is still loaded with other projects such as the "Gotham City Sirens." Likewise, Will Smith is also set to star in the upcoming Netflix fantasy series, "Bright."

Before the release of the 'Suicide Squad," the character of Deadshot is largely portrayed as an enemy of Batman. This character which was effectively portrayed by Will Smith is described as one of the best assassins in the world. Deadshot is actually Floyd Lawson who after accidentally killing his brother will train to be a sharp shooter.
