Spoilers for "Despicable Me 3" continue to fire up the excitement for the upcoming sequel. The trailer has just been released, giving some sneak peek on the lovable characters, entertaining music and enjoyable conversations that the franchise is known and loved for. Most importantly, the trailer teased about the new villain Balthazar Bratt (played by Trey Parker), who uses "dance fight" and giant bubblegum.
The official trailer for "Despicable Me 3" begins with a funny street scene where one car driver tries to outwit Gru's tall vehicle by elevating its vehicle too. When Gru found out about the guy's antics, the super-villain-turned-super-dad's car rise higher and hit the other guy's car and slam the latter to the wall.
The trailer also reveals Gru's (played by Steve Carell) newest villain. The promo video shows Gru was battling with Balthazar Bratt. The new villain has been a popular child star and has become passionate with the character he has played in the 80's. The clip introduces him as a character in Michael Jackson peg, dancing to the pop star's "I'm Bad" while trying to sneak into the ship.
The clip unveils a snippet on the main plot of "Despicable Me 3." Balthazar Bratt came to steal the gigantic diamond being carried in a huge ship. Gru then comes to fight with Balthazar, riding a submarine which turns into a motorcycle that runs on the water.
Bratt uses a bubble gum, a unique fighting tool that can enlarge itself into giant bubbles and can even explode into a devastating weapon. One scene also shows the giant bubbles planted on the ship began to carry the ship onto the air, crossing the city.
When Gru finally reached onto the ship, he battles with Bratt. Fans will enjoy the funny battle scenes where the latter does "dance fight" against Gru.
Furthermore, the Good Men Project also noted that the upcoming "Despicable Me 3" will feature the reunion of Gru with Dru (also played by Carell), his long lost twin brother. The plot reveals that it will not be a harmonious reunion between the two brothers as Gru will get into some sibling rivalry he encounters Dru again, after a long time of separation.
Towards the end of the clip, a scene featuring two minions will make the fans of "Despicable Me" laugh their heart out. Also, the parents of the young fans of "Despicable Me" will enjoy the music of circa 80's used in the upcoming sequel.
