The hype of Marvel's upcoming flick "Captain America: Civil War" just won't stop. While Marvel keeps their fans waiting for the film's official trailer or teaser, there are continuous talks about its leak trailer. Just recently, a new report suggests that supervillain Thanos might appear in "Civil War."
Josh Brolin, the voice behind Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, told MTV News that he loves being in the comic book movies and revealed that he has no idea when the audience will see him next.
According to International Business Times, Thanos has three brief appearances in the following films: "The Avengers," "Guardians of the Galaxy," and "Avengers 2." However, the villain will have a full-fledged role in "Avengers 3: Infinity War," where he will make the Marvel superheroes' life a living hell.
When Brolin was asked if he will appear in the much anticipated film, "Captain America: Civil War," he just said, "I don't know which one I'm in." The American actor further said, "That's a Kevin Feige question. I know the trajectory of what they're doing, but I don't know exactly which one I'm in."
While Thanos is not that visible and he is not sure when his next appearance would be, he admitted that he is enjoying the fans' reaction with his being part of MCU. The "Everest" star shared how he loves going into comic book store and being associated to his Marvel character, Thanos. He said that the experience was a lot of fun and that he respects the fans. He also shared his excitement about doing movie, "I'm excited about doing it, I really am."
When asked who among the Avengers he is looking forward for a face off, Brolin revealed something that leads fans to speculate the disaster Thanos might be bringing to the superheroes. "I don't have a favorite because it's me against all of them," Brolin said. "I think the entirety is what I'm most looking forward to. Each and every one. I'm bringing the wrath."
According to Cinemablend, regardless of what happens to the superheroes they will definitely workout their indifferences if Thanos shows up. The report suggests that maybe by the time Thanos arrived the heroes have already resolved their conflict, or maybe he will be the reason for the superheroes to end their strife and work together to defeat him.
Thanos' goal is to collect all the Infinity Stones (Gems in the comics) and put them in the Infinity Gauntlet. Three stones were already featured in the past films, Tesseract is on Asgard, the Power Stone is kept by the Nova Corps, and The Collector has the Aether. It will be a struggle to the superheroes if Thanos fulfill his goal but as to when this will happen remains a mystery.
