For "Dragon Age: Inquisition" fans, here's a good news and a sad one. The upcoming "Trespasser" DLC will soon be available, unfortunately it will be the final DLC for "Inquisition," which will offer a "real conclusion" to the gameplay.
Bioware revealed way back in July that all DLC for "Inquisition" would be leaving consoles from the last generation behind, GameZone has learned. The report suggests that the third and last single-player DLC of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" will determine the simple question, "What's it like being in an organization built to save the world after the world has ostensibly been saved?," which is very complex to solve than one could ever imagine due to tons of decisions involved in the gameplay than can affect the countries and characters.
In the game's official website, Mike Laidlaw wrote that "Trespassers" tells an entirely new story, which was set two years after the main game. It takes into account the story of a world-saving organization, in a plot where they seem to be no longer necessary because "the world no longer needs saving."
The gameplay includes meeting and talking with old friends, uncovering a new threat, and deciding the fate of the "Inquisition" that players worked so hard to build. Laidlaw hinted that it might contain suggestions about the future of Thedas, too.
Laidlaw also shared that along with its fixes for the upcoming DLC are a couple of treats which includes the following:
1. Golden Nug syncs the player's collectibles after completing "Dragon Age: Inquisition's" main story. To take advantage of this feature, the player needs to head to the Skyhold Undercroft postgame and click the new Golden Nug statue. The sync is bi-directional and additive, so any collectibles will be added to the online collection. It's like having a new game without having to start from scratch.
2. Skyhold has a new wardrobe, which comes preloaded with about a dozen outfits of multiple colors. The default beige outfit is still available. To find the wardrobe, the player only needs to head to the bedroom once the game patches. These features are available without additional charges.
However, to be able to play "Trespasser" one needs a completed character from the "Dragon Age: Inquisition's" main storyline. For the said reason, the team opted to announce it earlier than the others.
Laidlaw also confirmed that this will be their last DLC, as he said, "Our final announcement today was of Trespasser, the final DLC for Inquisition...This content marks the end of our time with the Inquisition. I sincerely hope you enjoy it."
"Dragon Age: Inquisition" will be released on Sept. 8 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, Kotaku has learned.
