One of Capcom's biggest franchise is coming to mobile. "Mega Man" also known as "Rock Man" in Japan will be ported to IOS and Android in January 2017.
Six "Mega Man" Games are going to hit the Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store in January next year. The "Mega Man" franchise has 134 titles under its name which has sold a total of 31 million copies based on Capcom's Investor relations page. The very first installment of the series was released in December 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)/Famicon. Mega Man is one of the most challenging platform games on the NES. The game requires precise and timed movements to advance forward
The story takes place in the year 200X, a time where humans and robots already co-exist in a peaceful society thru the efforts of Dr. Light. The peace will soon be shattered by the sinister Dr. Willy who wants to take over the world. Eager to stop his old rival, Dr. Light's assistant robot named "Rock" volunteered to be converted into an android whose sole purpose is to defeat Dr. Willy and his minions.
"Mega Man" has been ported to almost every gaming console/ platform in the gaming industry.
