According to a report presented by CNN, The Tultepec market located in Mexico turned into a graveyard because of the fireworks explosions which ended up killing 33 people. For quite some years now people have been strolling through the shops and stalls at San Pablito looking to buy fireworks and launch them while they are enjoying their holidays.
Forensic teams are searching for burnt rubble trying to find remains of the victims. According to CNN, the exact number of people that were killed was 33 and dozens of people were left injured because of the huge series of explosions.
The authorities told that the blast was so massive that high quantity of plumes of smoke went into the sky and the blast had such an impact that it even shook the ground of the cities that were nearby. Dead bodies of 28 people were in such a condition that they were recognizable and they were returned to their relatives soon after they were discovered.
Authorities have confirmed that it could take more days to recognize the bodies of the other victims before they are returned to the families of the deceased. According to CrossRoads Today, The governor of Mexico, Eruviel ávila Villegas, ordered his administration to help the victims in the costs involved in the funerals.
After the explosion, many people believe that the town has somehow changed because of the changed situation that they have to witness the dead bodies lying side by side burned and destroyed. A blast took place at the same fireworks market in 2005 wounded a huge figure of people and caused widespread damage.
One more fire made way through part of the market in 2006. After that, officials have made security improvements at the location trying to prevent it from further damage and threat and described it as a safer place than it was to buy and sell fireworks than the clandestine workshops that are located in some local homes.
