There is no doubt that "Game of Thrones" remains to be among the favorite TV shows. After season 5 ended, the hype about the upcoming season starts and it never stopped or slow down. There has been a continuous speculation on what to expect in "Game of Thrones" season 6.
A new report from WatchersOnTheWall revealed that the show is looking for a new character, who will be filming for a key scene in the coming week. The description of the said role is a rugged pirate in his 30's with an aggressive temper. The actor needs to be tall, rugged and with a "sharp mind and machismo" to fit for the character. Moreover, he needs to stand up in a crowd and make himself heard because his role has a lot of forceful dialogue in one scene with the leading cast members.
This report suggests that the actor and scene in the description are referring to the Kingsmoot or any equivalent scene. If it is Kingsmoot, then the leading cast members are likely Yara and Euron Greyjoy.
Aside from this, two other characters were confirmed to be joining the next season, whose original descriptions are as follows:
Lord of Noble Northern House: The lord is a savage warrior and he rules a distinguished house in the very far North. The role is influential. He is a massive bear of a man with a beard and he can be violent. Casting age is between 25 - 50. The show is looking for an actor with a powerful physique who can mount over other characters with a Northern accent and a height of at least 180 cm. The character will film two episodes.
Lord of Northern Stronghold: The lord is ruthless, frightening and calculating. He rules a vassal household with a castle stronghold. The production is looking for an actor in his late 30s or 40s, who will be filming for three episodes.
There are speculations that the first lord is Smalljon Umber. According to International Business Times, Umber never appeared in the show in the past seasons, but in the books he fights alongside Robb Stark. This is a departure from the book since the said character was killed at the Red Wedding in "A Storm of Swords."
The second lord could be the new Lord Karstark. According to WatchersOnTheWall, Stark executed the previous Lord Karstark for initiating the murder of two young hostages. There is no confirmation if this character is connected to the Karstarks in the book or if the show developed this character as their own.
"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres in Spring 2016.
