With the developments made through the vast researchers in different fields of science, there has been an upgrade to carry out the workload and researchers given by schools as homework. Instead of writing all the assignments on paper and hard work one can now use their computer to create assignments. The digital era has now arrived where computers and tablets have replaced old-school text books and notes.
However in the digital era, finding a place where children can sit with full comfort and complete their school homework's has been a matter of great difficulty. The kitchen tables and dining tables cannot fulfill the needs of everyone, and they cannot keep up with the extra burden of the numerous electronics.
According to WSJ, the solution of the problem lays an increase in demand of a dedicated homework area it, however, will require lots of plugs and wiring for electronics and they should also be in the range of parents to keep a close check on the children at the same time.
The amount of students of high school and middle school, the use of technology for completing their homework, has increased tremendously with figures reporting that it has been more than just doubled between the short span of 2011 and 2015, according to Adhoc News.
A report conducted by Project Tomorrow, an education nonprofit organization that is located in Irvine, Cali fit shows that students between grades 6 and 12, the 87% percent of them use the internet at home for completing school assignments.
Despite the vast research, the internet provides some ways to distract the child from its actual purpose, and that is where the parents have to interfere. Some parents were asked to share their views on the creation of the homework area and majority of them gave positive response and confirmed positive results as well.
