The Nordic ‘God Of War’ Coming To PS4, New Details Revealed!

The upcoming "God of War" reboot for the PlayStation 4 has been silent for a while and the fans are wondering if the game is still in development. Is the new "God of War" really coming out?

A fan tweeted Cory Balrog, (God of War's director) that he has given up on the "God of War" news and that the only part that was finished was the "deer hunting" scene. Cory Balrog replied with a tweet stating that "there is a whole game here. Just finished first full play through with the leads. very exciting milestone for us!"

The trailer of the new "God of War" was has been one of the most celebrated features during Sony's E3 presentation. The trailer has gathered more than 15 million views on YouTube. The trailer opened the event with a boy playing with a young boy playing outside their home, his father who was enveloped by the shadows then called his attention. When the light hit the face of the boy's father, the crowd went wild. It was the very first time everyone saw the new Kratos in his Nordic form.

There are many speculations since then about the new "God of War," fans were waiting for a follow up of the trailer during this year's PlayStation Experience event but they were disappointed. Cory Balrog's tweet was the latest update since E3 2016 which is not bad since the update revealed the true state of the game's development with an estimate of 9 months more before its release, based on the thread.

A demo of "God of War" is also farfetched since Cory Balrog also told one of the fans that the game's development will be quicker without demos, according to Attack of the Fanboy's article. Even without demos and update from time to time would be great for the fans who are anxious and are desperately waiting to know the whereabouts of the game. Cory Balrog's update will silent the fans for now.
