With reality series such as "Married at First Sight," "Married by Mom & Dad" and "The Bachelor," it seems like the quest for a lifelong and fulfilling relationship is proving to be such a difficult and complicated task. However, the TV series mentioned above are all top-rating shows meaning viewers are interested to see individuals on this unique journey of finding true love. This growing interest is probably a huge reason why the reality show from FYI will be back for Season 5 plus a spin-off series called "Married at First Sight: Second Chances," is also in the works.
As posted in the Deadline, the cable network, FYI announced the renewal of the series that features hopeful singles who agree to tie the knot with someone they will meet for the first time. The match which everybody hopes to be made in heaven is made by a group of relationship experts who based it on the individual's traits and vision of a perfect partner. After saying "I Do" on their first meeting, the newly married couples will be given a chance to live together for a few weeks and then they will decide if they wish to stay married or head to divorce.
Sounds like an easy process, right? However, this social experiment has seen more couples choosing to go separate ways than stay together. Based on the outcomes from past seasons, it seems that an arranged marriage is not so effective so it is a wonder why the show will have another season. Anyway, the fifth season will feature individuals from Chicago.
Meanwhile, a spin-off series, "Married at First Sight: Second Chances," will feature cast members from Season 3, David Norton and Vanessa Nelson as reported by Starcasm. David who broke up with Ashley and Vanessa who got heartbroken from Tres will have another chance at love. Season 5 for "Married at First Sight" will air on 2017.
