Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge has finally unveiled and introduced her eight-week-old daughter baby Dixie Pearl to the world.
The 26-year-old model mom shared the first photo of her cute daughter with her 29,974 followers on Twitter on Saturday. The black and white photo showed the proud father Caleb Followill holding and having fun with his daughter, while the proud model mom proudly watched the scene.
"Glad everyone liked our family pic :) she's our angel!" she wrote after posting the photo.
Aldridge gave birth to baby Dixie Pearl at Vanderbilt University & Medical Center i Nashville, June 21. The new arrival weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces at birth. This is the first child of the model with her husband Followill.
Aldridge first met Kings of Leon frontman Followill at the Coachella Festival in 2007 and tied the knot in 2011. The duo announced the news of their first child on Dec. 2011.
"We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together. We can't wait to meet the new addition to our family," The couple told The Daily Mail.
Aldridge acted in a series of advertisements before starting her career as a Victoria secret angel. She made her first appearance through the cover page of Spanish magazine Vogue in 2003.
After participating in Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2009, she became Victoria's Secret Angel in 2010.
