A recent interview with celebrity mom Ciara has strengthened speculation that she and NFL boyfriend Russell Wilson are headed down the aisle soon.
During an interview at the VMAs red carpet on August 31, the 29-year-old told Access Hollywood "accidentally" let it spill that the reporter she was talking to could attend her wedding to boyfriend Wilson.
The conversation began with the pair recalling how they always meet at events like the VMAs where the reporter always asks her who she's currently dating and proceeded to congratulate Ciara on her blossoming romance with Russell.
When the reporter says she's glad they found each other and "invite me to the wedding," Ciara happily replied, "Of course! I gotta have this pretty lady there. We gotta dance." She then caught herself and said, "Oh my gosh! What am I talking about? I'm like 'Of course!' put it in the universe and let it happen. Sorry."
Hollywood Life notes that Ciara didn't seem too alarmed over her answer and simply shrugged it off while laughing when they referred to the moment as an "exclusive."
Ciara and Russell's Relationship
Weeks earlier it was revealed by the couple that they were waiting till marriage before they engage in physical intimacy. Last month, the ex-girlfriend of rapper Future revealed she didn't take anything offense to the Seattle Seahawks star telling the public about their decision to wait.
Page Six reported that Ciara admits celibacy is both awesome and a challenge. Ciara confirmed to the public that the couple's decision was made in church and rooted on their Christian faith. Speaking on Wilson's public reveal of their abstinence, "It was one of those things where it was an organic conversation he was having. I don't think he expected to talk about it either. But I guess he was just speaking the reality of what is really going on."
She shares that while that while it's a challenge, the decision has also given them the opportunity to get to know each other better and build a foundation for a lasting relationship.
The mom of Future Zahir, 1, detailed: "It was at church, and I think the cool thing is just being able to share our journey with some other people like us. It's a great challenge. I can definitely say that. But it's awesome because we get to really challenge ourselves, get to know each other and really build a foundation.
