As the September 9 Apple event approaches, the excitement over what the Cupertino-based firm could unveil continues to rise.
There are a number of speculated devices that could be part of the presentation, these include the long-time rumored oversized iPad Pro, the next-generation iPhone -- dubbed as the iPhone 6S -- along with other products and the iOS 9.
With the planned event less than a week away, below is a quick round up of the company's most rumored products which could be announced this coming Tuesday.
iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus
Every year since the release of the first iPhone, Apple has always released its flagship smartphone in September. It's a near certainty that the company will unveil its latest model during the event next week. It will most likely be called the iPhone 6S and will be accompanied by a larger variant, the iPhone 6S Plus.
According to PC Advisor, it's reported that the new iPhone could sport Force Touch technology -- an iPhone first -- along with improved camera specs of 12 MP, an A9 processor with 2GB RAM and come preloaded with iOS 9.
Apple TV
Apple fans have been waiting for an Apple TV upgrade and according to insiders, their wish may finally be granted this year. A 9to5Mac report says that the new Apple TV could sport a number of new features that include a voice activated Siri digital assistant as well as a handy new remote.
iPad Mini 4
The iPad Mini 4 is pegged for a September 9 unveil and rumors, via IB Times, is that the smaller iPad will mimic the specs of the iPad Air 2 released in 2014. As an upgrade from its predecessor taking a cue from the iPad Air 2, the iPad Mini 4 could come with an 8 MP iSight camera, an Apple A9 or A8X processor, iOS 9.1 software and 2GB of RAM.
iPad Pro
Moving on from the smaller iPads will be the productivity-geared iPad Pro which is slated to be about 12.9 inches. It's reported that the device is targeting corporate use and will be for those who are looking to maximize portable PCs and the multi-tasking features to be showcased in the iOS 9.
Along with the new devices, Apple typically releases new software, this year it's expected to be the iOS 9.
The September 9 event hosted by Apple will take place at the 7,000-seater Bill Graham auditorium in San Francisco.
