After being on maternity leave for four months, the duchess, Kate Middleton, is reportedly set to return to her royal duties.
According to Hello Magazine, Princess Kate will perform her first royal engagement on Sept. 17. She will be visiting the Anna Freud Center, a child care mental health facility, for a charity event for the first time. It's going to be the first visit to the center for Kate, who is reportedly planning on focusing on children and mental health for most of her public duties from now on.
On the next day, the princess will tag along with her husband, Prince William, and her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, for the opening ceremonies of the Rugby World Cup, which is hosted by England. The news outlet also reported that Kate will be watching other tournaments during the said event.
Her schedule is also starting to get filled up as she's set to be in Dundee in Scotland and North Wales October and November. According to People Magazine, both places have special significance to the royal couple, as Dundee is near St. Andrew's, the place where they met, and North Wales had been their home for the first three years of their marriage.
Since giving birth to Princess Charlotte in May, the royal family have been spending their time at Anmer Hall, the renovated estate of the Queen. While Kate tended to her children over the summer, her husband returned to his duties as a pilot with East Anglian Air Ambulance service in June.
Kate's absence from the public eye for the last few months has fueled rumors that she may be pregnant with the third royal baby. A source allegedly told Star Magazine that the duchess is in "the early stages of pregnancy with baby number 3," according to Hollywood Life. With this latest development, Kate is said to have allegedly been allowed by the Queen to cancel her royal engagements, given her two previous difficult pregnancies.
But Gossip Cop reported that none of the pregnancy stories are true. According to a palace insider who confirmed to the news outlet, the third pregnancy rumor is considered as "rubbish."
Meanwhile, as Kate resumes her royal functions, her children will be cared for by their nanny Maria Borrallo. According to ABC News, Maria has been with the family since Prince George was born two years ago. She was trained at the Norland College, a reputable school for nannies.
"We know that she has become very close to Kate since she started working with her," Victoria Murphy, the royal commentator, told the news outlet. "She just really knows everything that you could possibly need to know about bringing up a child."
