Forty-six-year-old actress Halle Berry is expecting her second child, her representative confirmed to Huffington Post.
According to reports, the actress is three months pregnant and the baby will be her first child with French actor and fiancé Olivier Martinez.
"We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez, 47, are expecting a child," Berry's representative said. "We will not be commenting on or confirming any additional details."
Five-year-old Nahla is Berry's first child with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Both, Berry and Aubry, settled their custody battle over Nahla last November.
"Halle and Olivier are really excited," a source told E! News. "It's a blessing. They can't wait to have a baby together."
Berry and Martinez started dating in 2010 after working together in the movie, Dark Tide. They got engaged a-year-and-half back.
In 2002, Berry won the Academy Award in the Best Actress category for the movie, Monster's Ball. So far she is the only African-American woman to win an Oscar for the leading role.
In an interview on "The Wendy Williams Show" Berry said, "Every night, we do our prayers. We pray to God, so sweet. She says, 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.' And I say, 'I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we've got to keep praying on.'"
In the same show she said that she was happy that she became a mother after 40.
"I'm a much better mother at 46 or 41 when I had her, than if I were 21 or 25," she said. "I was just a little baby, just trying to figure it out, trying to figure out who I was, let alone have the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow. I'm so glad I waited."
