The daughter of the late King Of Rock, Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, is facing a legal battle with her former husband Michael Lockwood. Lisa Marie's mother, Priscilla Presley, revealed on Facebook she is currently taking care of her twin granddaughters as her daughter faces the legal battle.
Lisa Marie and her former husband are battling over his alleged child abuse. Priscilla assured fans the kids are in good hands after posting a number of photos on her social media account and captioning them with explanations.
First, the 71-year-old grandmother took to Facebook over the weekend to say there is a lot of confusion, commotion and concern regarding the child abuse allegations. She also said her granddaughters will never be placed in foster care as the twin sisters have been with her, FOX News reported.
The 8-year-old twin sisters were at the pool in the photo taken by Priscilla. She posted another snap showing the sisters all smiles while hugging each other. Priscilla thanked the people for their positive support.
Many showed concern over the twin sisters after Lisa Marie announced her twins were in protective custody following the discovery of disturbing photos of children on a computer of her former husband. The 49-year-old claimed her daughters were taken by the California Department of Children and Family Services due to the alleged videos related to children. Lockwood responded to the matter saying it was a distasteful move for Lisa Marie in an attempt to damage his reputation.
Lockwood also said his former wife has a difficult time being honest. It remains unclear if there were really child-related photos and videos found on Lockwood's computer. An attorney for Lockwood said the statements of Lisa Marie against his client are inaccurate and unproven, People reported.
Lockwood and Lisa Marie married in 2006. They divorced last year and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. A hearing on the matter was scheduled this Feb. 22.
