President Donald Trump's first wife, Ivana Trump, announced she will write a memoir about her family. The book will focus on how she raised their three children namely Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr.
The mother-of-three cleared her memoir is not political and will be out later this year. Gallery Books will publish the memoir this Sept. 12.
Gallery Books echoed Ivana's statement that the book is not at all political as it is a tale of motherhood, strength, and resilience. The memoir will also touch on the subject of Ivana's childhood under the communist Czechoslovakia, how she escaped, how she found love and how she became a successful businesswoman, Cosmopolitan shared.
Another statement about the book titled "Raising Trump" said, as the president takes his place as the 45th leader of the United States, their children "have also been thrust into the media spotlight - but it is Ivana who raised them and proudly instilled in them what she believes to be the most important life lessons: loyalty, honesty, integrity and drive." Ivanka moved to Washington with her husband, senior adviser Jared Kushner in the Trump administration, while Donald Jr. and Eric took over their family businesses to avoid conflict of interest.
Ivana also said in a statement when she announced about the memoir that she was a tough but loving mother who taught her children the value of a dollar. She told them never to lie, cheat or steal and they should respect others, Politico reported.
This is not the first time news surfaced about Ivana's memoir. During the campaign of the president, Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric all expressed their excitement over the book noting their mother is an amazing mom.
Donald and Ivana divorced in 1992 after 15 years of marriage due to infidelity reports. Donald reportedly had an affair with Marla Maples. Later, Maples became the president's second wife. Maples and Donald divorced in 1999 and in 2005, he married Melania Knauss.
This is not the first book of Ivana as she already wrote books with titles, "The Best Is Yet to Come: Coping With Divorce and Enjoying Life Again" as well as "For Love Alone." President Trump's ex-wife Ivana is also a former model.
