Despite her hectic schedule, juggling motherhood and business, Jessica Simpson takes a break to celebrate a fruitful decade for her billion-dollar fashion clothing line at the Tavern on the Green in New York, as reported by Entertainment Tonight.
Extra TV asked Simpson on how she feels about having a billion-dollar company in a span of ten years, Simpson gushed, "Ten years, can you even believe it? The line doesn't feel like ten years! If I had a billion dollars in the bank, I would be like, oh yeah."
Simpson opens up to Entertainment Tonight on her secret for keeping the business alive and growing, she said, "I think it's really just understanding a woman. I understand a woman! I know how to make a woman feel beautiful. Any and every kind of woman. So I am celebrating that woman tonight."
The 35-year old entrepreneur and mom of two kids, three-year old Maxwell and two-year old Ace, looks stunning in her black dress and glammed up as always. When asked how she had managed to regain her figure, Simpson told Entertainment Tonight,
"A lot of squats! A lot of push-ups, got to keep these things up. And running around with my kids. That is a diet in itself."
Joining Simpson for the celebration is her former NFL hunk husband, Eric Johnson, their kids, and proud mom Tina. According to Extra TV, while Simpson's mom was accompanying her, her mom asked, "When's gonna be the next grandkid?", catching Simpson off-guard. Simpson then replied, "There is no pressure, my sister has it on her now. It's all about Ashley having babies now."
Simpson shared with Entertainment Tonight that she and her sibling Ashlee Simpson, who just recently became a mom to Jagger last July, are happy to have close ties with each other's families. She adds, "Jagger just came over to see me, Maxwell and Ace the other day and she's so tiny and so sweet! And Maxwell is just obsessed! She has baby dolls, she wants to be a mom already. She's a care taker!"
Although she enjoys keeping her immediate family close, Simpson opened up to Entertainment Tonight that she and her husband aren't planning to have Baby No. 3 just yet, and revealed, "No more kids on the horizon, That would freak me out a little bit."
Simpson also revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she may have another album coming up saying, "I feel like I'm at such a comfortable place to like open my heart and share so much with everybody. So, music makes the most sense." It was 2008 when Simpson last released an album so Simpson's fans will have something to look forward to.
