The public is concerned about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's condition upon hearing that Prince Charles, 71, tested positive with the coronavirus. The royal watchers are worried that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are infected after seeing them with Prince Charles in public.
Prince Charles is now doing self-quarantine.
Fans Worried About Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
Fans know that Meghan and Harry attended their last royal engagement by celebrating Commonwealth Day on March 9, when they appeared alongside Prince Charles. This event concerns a lot of their fans asking whether the Sussex couple knows that the Duke of Wales is infected. One of the fans even said that all royal members must be in danger now of the coronavirus, with the hashtag "#CoronavirusLockdown".
Adding to that, he said that Prince Charles should stay away from the Queen and the Sussex couple.
Right after the event, Meghan immediately went to Canada, while Harry was left for a few days before going home to his family. Right now, the Sussex family is in self-isolation as a precautionary measure.
Since the doctors are suspecting March 13 to be the start date of Prince Charles being contagious, then that would make Meghan and Harry safe from COVID-19.
However, since Prince Charles could have caught the virus from someone else, then there is still the slightest chance. Fans are hoping that the Sussex couple is not infected.
Prince Charles Is Positive
Buckingham Palace has confirmed recently that Prince Charles is positive for coronavirus. Not one of the royals knows how he contracted the virus, but it could be because he interacted with many people in the past few weeks.
Prince Charles is in the early stage of the virus. However, the royal family assures the watchers that Prince Charles is doing well and is currently in isolation in Birkhall, where he will be staying for several weeks.
Up to now, no one is sure when a person becomes contagious, but doctors believe that Prince Charles could have started passing the virus a day after visiting Queen Elizabeth, according to Express.
Royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills said that the doctors estimate that the Prince of Wales is likely to be contagious after around March 13, his last official public engagement.
Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth held a private meeting at Buckingham Palace before the dinner. This event puts Her Majesty at risk of getting infected because she was in the same room a day before Prince Charles was assumed to be contagious.
After the positive test result, Prince Charles has been avoiding shaking hands with anyone. However, he was found to have been in contact with his two sons, William and Harry, who have been supporting him.
Was Queen Elizabeth Tested?
Royal expert Sarah Campbell was questioning whether the Queen was already tested because, especially since she is already in her 90s, it would be detrimental to her health if she contracted the virus, as shared by the Express.
The royal family is already making precautions by canceling several events last week, and more to come unless the situation gets better.
The Queen has also left Buckingham Palace and was sent to stay with Prince Philip at Windsor Castle. They are currently not accepting visitors, and are expected to not come out to the public for their safety.
