Kelly Ripa uses her daughter, Lola Consuelos' makeup, as she works from home. She posted on her Instagram a Live ballet session that she uses her 18-year-old daughter's cosmetics for her hosting of "Live with Kelly and Ryan" while doing self-quarantine.
She said that since the studio is closed due to the coronavirus, she kept putting her daughter's self-tanner thinking that it would help her look good because all her clothes, hair products, and makeup are all locked up in the studio.
She said that she realized that it is a blessing to have a place to keep all her belongings, so she is only wearing an 18-year-old tanner and some workout clothes. The 49-year-old mom said that Lola had had strong feelings about her style.
Ripa had a one-piece bathing suit in her closet, and when she tried to wear it, her daughter told her to do herself a favor and try not to post it on Instagram because she would be regretting it in the future even though now it might seem to be a great idea.
Lola Being Her Mom's Makeup Artist
Last week, Ripa and Ryan Seacrest shared on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" that they are both running out of things to do, so the mom of three is now even borrowing her daughter's clothes.
Kelly Ripa also said that she is relying on her daughter's beauty skills now that she has to do self-isolation. She said that by just watching a TikTok video, Lola has learned how to do her hair even with only the use of the tie of the bathrobe.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelo Practices Social Distancing
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelo are currently self-isolating with their three children Lola, Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 17.
Lola made a cameo guest a month ago on her mom's talk show, where she shared how it was like to be "under lockdown" with her parents. She said that it was not as bad as how she had perceived it. She added that she feels very lucky to be able to be at home as a family because there is more family bonding time.
When asked if she had learned something new from her family upon being locked down, the New York University freshman exclaimed that they have been doing weird things all the time, so she is already used to it. Although the good thing is, she remembers everything that she forgot at college.
Lola is spending her time learning and doing homework during the quarantine. However, apart from that, she is also watching Netflix, YouTube, and her newfound addiction, TikTok. She said that watching families do TikTok videos is entertaining; however, it seems that there is no way that Ripa is going to follow the trend.
