Alex Rodriguez Talks About Wedding Plans with Jennifer Lopez

Many couples planning to get married this year are now either rethinking, postponing, or changing their wedding plans. Among these couples are Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez.

Earlier this month, Jennifer Lopez announced on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that her wedding plans are on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak. Lopez and Rodriguez got engaged in March 2019, and the couple has been plotting their wedding details.

ET's Kevin Frazier said that Rodriguez told him about their coordination with their reps about their wedding plans. He said that they had a Zoom meeting to talk about what's going to happen in the next few months. They talked about having three or four different variations. He added that they even talked about where they are "going [on our] next summer" and movie projects that they might do in the future.

The former New York Yankee said that it is a fluid world because you have to think of what might happen, and so when you schedule or finance something, you have to think proactively. He believes that the most important thing for everybody is to practice staying at home. He said that everyone has to do their part in beating the coronavirus together.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez' Self-Isolation

Along with Rodriguez's two daughters Natasha, 15, and Ella, 12, and Lopez' 12-year-old twins Emme and Max, the couple are happily self-isolating at home. The former MLB player said that they are grateful for being healthy. Adding to that, he said that the global health crisis makes everyone appreciate the little things and thankful for everything that they have.

He also said that they are trying their best to get along together well. He shared that they have been spending being lockdown bonding and playing games, and he said that this is a good chance for them to connect.

Alex Rodriguez said that he is thrilled to be at home because he was never home, so now, he is making the best out of it. The family is playing Wiffle ball, chess, checkers, and Monopoly. He exclaimed that having dinner with the kids every day is like a dream come true.

Alex Rodriguez Helps Out During Pandemic

Apart from staying positive during this pandemic, he is also doing his best to be proactive and gives his efforts to help those who are less fortunate than him. He placed his cherished World Series Trophy for auction in Michael Rubin's #AllInChallenge, where proceeds will be donated to charities to provide food for the needy.

A-Rod is calling out to the athletes, musicians, entertainers to participate in the event because, to him, this is their responsibility because they are more privileged, so they must serve the country and its people, "because this is when America comes together."

He added that the world is full of fear right now, so this is the time to bring people together using music and sports. Finally, he said that this is their way of giving back to the country and its countrymen.
