Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got Lopez's son Maximilian "Max" David, 12, a Goldendoodle puppy. Now, they are debating what to name their new puppy.
An addition to the family
On Thursday, the couple shared the photo of the newest family member on their respective social media accounts. The 44-year-old stepdad to Max shared a family portrait with the pooch. He added a caption saying they surprised Max with a new puppy.
He added that the only thing that they need to decide is what to name the cute puppy. He also said that they are having a family debate as he seeks out the help of his followers. The former MLB star wrote that they are choosing between Tyson or Yankee Doodle. He also said that their family dog, Lady, got a brother. Then he jokingly added a hashtag #ImAGranddad.
The singer shared a video of Max playing with his new playmate. She added a caption welcoming the puppy, tagging the Instagram account of their four-legged friend. She wrote that they had not named Max's little golden doodle. She also wrote both names and said that they would reveal all soon.
Although he has no name yet, the Goldendoodle has already gained lots of fans. As of Friday, it got at least 10,000 followers on his Instagram account. Its photo with Max had a caption saying that he and his dad Max are already the best of buddies.
Another photo featured Emme kissing the pup read wrote that he might be sleepy, but he has the best Auntie in the world.
Lopez and Rodriguez are together amid the pandemic
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Lopez and Rodriguez are practicing social distancing together. The retired athlete shared an Instagram post in late April, saying that he is feeling "incredibly grateful."
He shared a photo of himself, Lopez, and his 15-year-old daughter, Natasha. He added a caption saying that he is spending so much time with the beautiful girls who laugh at him when he makes goofy faces.
Rodriguez also said that now is the time that we need to help each other. He added that we should make the most out of this time and be one as a community.
Wedding plans on hold
In April, Lopez announced on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that their wedding plans are on hold due to the pandemic. Since getting engaged last March 2019, the couple has been planning their wedding details.
On March 18, JLo shared a video of her son Max serving drinks on a hoverboard. While this video is cute, the fans could not help but comment on how their house looked similar to the movie "Parasite."
One could see how the floor to ceiling windows matched with the one in the movie. Even the perfectly mowed lawn looked the same. It may only portray that living in a house that looks like that are for wealthy people.
