It is not every day that we witness an act of kindness done to us. That is why a father from North Carolina did not hesitate to share how a small act of kindness made his family's day.
Bobby Clayton shared his and his sons' experience to inspire others in spreading respect and kindness.
One day at Walmart
Bobby and his kids, Harvi and Ryder, were at Walmart last Thursday to buy some supplies for the Fourth of July. They were in line at the self-checkout counter when a woman started talking to Harvi and Ryder. They discussed their Independence Day plans.
The two kids and the woman were having quite some fun chatting until the woman looked into Bobby. She then asked if she could buy something for the kids, to which Bobby replied, "Yes, sure."
The woman asked the kids to pick out whatever candy they want from the shelves. She also said, "I don't care what it is; you can have it."
Harvi and Ryder chose packages of gummy bears. The woman bought it for them without any hesitation.

The woman's identity remains a mystery.
Because of what the woman did, Bobby wanted to know who she is, so she asked the woman. However, the woman did not say a word to Bobby, "She just kind of walked off like she didn't want me to know, she just wanted to do it."
Despite being a mystery woman, the small act of kindness that she offered is truly something that the family will cherish.
Bobby believes that the woman intended to only put a smile on his kids' faces, and she was successful.
The woman's kindness and the inspiration to others
Because of their experience with the woman they met at Walmart, Bobby's kids would want to do something good for others. They said they wanted to pay it forward. Surely, they have been inspired by the act of kindness that they witnessed at an unexpected time.
For Bobby, the woman's gesture is an example of how everyone should face the situations we are in. "Everybody has got to come together and have a heart," Bobby said.
He also added that being a stranger should not be an issue when showing love and compassion to others.
As the Clayton family shares their story, they continue to hope that they could inspire others also to do good for others. That is because we never know how much positive impact it could bring to another person.
Bobby is very thankful to the woman who taught his children love and respect. He said, "To this lady, I want to thank you again from the bottom of my heart for making my kids smile today."
