An emotional dad from Georgia could not hold his tears when he dropped off his son to college. Ken Mohammad's son Nasir is heading to college at Valdosta State University.

According to a report by WSBTV2, the viral video has been viewed more than 3 million views on Instagram.

The video uploaded by @theshaderoom shows the dad dropping off his 18-year-old son to college.

In the viral video, the mom shared that they were dropping their boy at the dorm. After that, the dad is seen as getting very emotional. He started to cry. He said, "You've been with me your whole life. You're gone now."

The parents in the video were also telling their son how they hope he will make the right decisions now that he is in college.

Before the video ended, the emotional dad also said that the son could give them a call if he needs anything.

In an interview with WSBTV2, the emotional dad shared that he has always been with his son and that this will be the first time they will be apart. The dad also said, "I just kind of broke down and lost it."

According to the dad, he just felt that the coronavirus pandemic cause him to pile all the emotions. He said that since traditions like the prom and graduation had to be canceled, he did not get the chance to cry for his son during those times.

In the same interview with the dad, the 18-year-old son shared that he was not surprised about his father's reactions. He knew that he would be very emotional during that day.

The son also said that he knows how proud his father is of what he is trying to accomplish. He said, "He wanted me to get higher education. So I knew that he was going to be proud."
