Taking off the California mom from life support

On the same GoFundMe page, the decision of the family to put off Maria from life support was also explained. According to the statement, the family, along with the medical staff in the hospital, thought that it was already time for Maria to go peacefully.

Piled up expenses

Because of the California mom's tragic death, the family had to pay for the costs of funeral service and memorial plans. That is why one of Maria's friends asked for the help of the public in providing support and assistance to the family.

The GoFundMe page says, "All donations will go directly to the family as they incur the expenses associated with laying her to rest."

All other donations will be given to the husband of the California mom who is now set to raise his four children independently.

As of writing the GoFundMe page has already raised more than 25,000 US Dollars. Around 460 donors have already shared in raising the funds for the Davis family. The initial goal of the campaign was to raise 15,000 US Dollars.

The "vivacious" California mom

According to Maria's husband, Greg Davis shared with PEOPLE that he knows he will miss his wife forever. He said, "She was everything to me, so much more than a wife."

Maria was the family's go-to person for everything since she is always willing to do everything for the people that she loves very much. Her husband says, "I loved to do anything for her because I knew she had already done that for me."

Greg says that the mom of her children is a strong and determined woman, "In our marriage, she was always the stronger of us."

Maria has four children. Their names are Brianna, Jacob, Adam, and Zoie.
