Legendary musician and record producer, David Foster, and "Smash" star, Katherine McPhee, are soon to have their first baby.
The pair announced that they are going to have their first child. Foster is already a father to five daughters while this is McPhee's first time to be a mom. Reports say they were seen having lunch and shopping for baby stuff in Montecito, California. Photos of the couple show McPhee, 36, sporting a black top, gray leggings, and a baseball cap.

Foster's daughters, Allison, 50, and Amy, 46, Sara, 39, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34 seem to get along well with McPhee. Speaking to PEOPLE, Erin said that McPhee is a positive addition to the family and they would sometimes call her "Mommy!" They even joked, their only issue with McPhee is that she is hot.
Erin even described the singer/actress' body as insane. She said that whenever McPhee comes over for family Sundays, she would ask her not to get in a bikini. Sara added that the lockdown started a sort of tradition for their husbands - hang on the side to ogle her.
Even the age difference had created a positive impact on Foster. Erin said that their dad comes from a generation are passive about their feelings, and so he is also passive. However, Kat inspired him to be more open.
She wrote that it was exactly 13 years ago when her very first single, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow, was released right after Idol. Then she said, "Today... I'm marrying the man who produced it."
The pair wanted to celebrate their first wedding anniversary by returning to London. Due to the pandemic, the plans had to be canceled. Speaking to PEOPLE, McPhee said they wanted to go back to the place where they got married. The pair was planning to visit friends and family where everyone is in a safe zone and quarantined.
