The Wall of Hope of an Arizona NICU is helping boost the hope of families whose newborn babies are being treated.
The parents of the newborn babies at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Banner Children's Hospital at Arizona are reminded of being hopeful through the Wall of Hope.
This wall is full of photos that show the now-healthy newborn babies who were once inside the NICU as well.

The Wall of Hope
The Arizona NICU is not always full of positivity. Most of the time, parents of babies in the NICU are filled with worries. However, the Banner Children's Hospital thought of a way to boost the hope of parents every time they visit their newborn babies in the Arizona NICU.
The Wall of Hope is a compilation of photos of past patients in the Arizona NICU who have completely recovered. Some of the children in the photo are already teenagers.

The purpose of the Wall of Hope
The before and after photos show the current situation of the children. The before photos featured the kids when they were still babies hooked into monitors, and some even only weighing a few pounds.
The idea of creating the Wall of Hope was from the NICU Parent Advisory Board. Its aim, according to the hospital's website is "to help keep their spirits up, especially during difficult times."
