Mandy Moore proudly shows off her baby bump at the People's Choice Award. People awarded the "This Is Us" actress as the TV Star of 2020.

While accepting the award, Mandy Moore was emotionally thanking the supporters of her show, her avid fans, and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith. Moore also expressed how excited she is to welcome her baby boy.

The actress also ended her speech with a reminder about the COVID-19 pandemic.


The celebrity mom dedicates the award

As Mandy Moore proudly shows off her baby bump while accepting the award, she also shared how excited she is to bring her baby boy to the world. She said," Taylor, I'm so excited to bring this baby boy into the world with you."

Aside from her husband, whom she calls the love of her life, Moore also tearfully thanked her fans. She also gave thanks to all of those who supported the show, This Is Us. The actress said," We truly wouldn't be here without you. You are a part of our growing family." Moore also shared that playing Rebecca Pearson (her character in This Is Us) highlights her career. While speaking at the awards night, the celebrity mom was continuously rubbing her baby bump with her free hand.


The couple's baby boy

Mandy Moore and her husband Taylor Goldsmith announced that they are welcoming a baby boy last September. Moore uploaded photos on Instagram with the caption "Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021."

The photos that the celebrity mom uploaded were in black and white. The pictures were showing her and her husband, who was cradling her baby bump. Goldsmith uploaded the same photos in his own Instagram account.

According to USA Today, the couple got married in November 2018. Their baby boy is their first child.


Call for the COVID-19 pandemic

Aside from her eternal gratitude to her family and the fans of the show, This Is Us, Moore also dedicated a portion of her speech to call to an end the pandemic's troubles.

She recognized how difficult this year has become for a lot of people. That is why she also took the opportunity to remind the public. Mandy Moore said, "So let's please keep each other safe. Let's continue to wear masks, socially distance, wash your hands and be kind to one another."
