An Oklahoma cop saves his family after responding to a house fire that turned out to be his residence. He bravely rummaged through the flames and got some burns, but he was able to save his family members.
During the early hours of November 13, Anthony Louie was on duty. The region's Fraternal Order of Police, Seminole FOP Lodge 138, reported that the cop unknowingly responded to a fire that was his home.
Immediately responded to the house fire
On a Facebook post, the group wrote that Officer Louie immediately acted upon a house fire without knowing it was where he lives. It also indicated that the officer entered the house and successfully saved his family members.

According to the post, the cop had to run through the porch when he entered the house. The porch was fully engulfed in flames, so when Louie tried to pass through it, he suffered serious burns. Even though he inhaled smoke, he was able to put his family to safety.
Protected his family to safety from the fire
The post wrote that the bravery of the officer had protected his family from harm. It noted that his family was not injured physically because of his quick action. The Facebook group also posted that many people are asking how they could donate money.
A lot of people are encouraging others to contribute to Tinker Federal Credit Union if they want to help the officer. In it, they could designate their donations to Officer Louie once they deposit funds to the Seminole FOP #138 account.

Donations for the family

Fellow officers would like to thank all the people who offered their help both in thoughts and prayers for Officer Louie's safety and well-being.
A GoFundMe page was started to help raise money for the brave Oklahoma cop and his family. The funds raised through it will be used to support the family as they recover from the tragedy as they "lost everything" from the fire.
The fundraiser did not take note of the condition of Officer Louie. However, it noted that the cop would be out of work for the time being. The officer will be recovering for a very long time before he goes back to duty.
