A man writes his final love letter for wife before he dies due to COVID-19. After spending two decades together, the husband said his last goodbye to his wife.
According to "The Monitor" obituary page, Billy Loredo died on December 13 at the McAllen Medical Center. His wife, Sonya Kypuros, told "WFAA" that she believes her late husband was telling her to be happy without him.
Hard to read the final love letter
Loredo's wife of 21 years said that she found it hard to read the final love letter her husband wrote. She explained that her late husband took care of everyone so she was not surprised that he wrote the love letter.

The lawyer in Edinburgh, Texas, emphasized the serious toll of COVID-19 and told his wife he would never hesitate to fight for his life just to see her again. Loredo wrote that his wife is the most essential person in his life and that he misses her every day.
He said that he does his best to be the perfect man because he knows he is not. The attorney promised to become a better man and husband in God and life. He explained that given a second chance at life, he would be better because his wife deserves the best.
Lived a wonderful life with his wife
In the heartbreaking letter, the 45-year-old also told his wife how happy he was with her. He wrote that he would never have traded his life for anything else because he had lived a wonderful life with Kypuros.

However, the late husband also wrote that he wants Kypuros to continue to live her life without him and be happy. Finally, he wrote that he had a wonderful time with her and that he loves and misses her very much. He concluded by telling his wife to keep fighting.
Symptoms started appearing in November
According to "WFAA,' Kypuros said that her late husband started having mild symptoms in November. She also said that by Thanksgiving, Loredo had trouble breathing. Soon, her husband got hospitalized.
The attorney got intubated because his condition worsened. Kypuros said that her husband was trying really hard not to be put on a ventilator. She kept telling Loredo that he would be okay and he could get through it all.

No preexisting conditions and was healthy
Kypuros said that it was awful for her not to be there to hold her late husband's hand because she could not be there in-person. Loredo's family explained that he had no preexisting conditions and that he was healthy when he caught the virus.
Pete Loredo, the lawyer's brother, told "WFAA" that he does not know how the virus chooses its victim. He also noted that when it finds it target, it is a killing machine.
According to the "New York Times" database, there have been over 17,986,700 COVID-19 cases in the US as of Monday. At least 318,700 have died of the deadly virus.
