An Ohio dad shares a funny photo of makeup done by his daughters. The viral photo is getting the attention of Twitter users.
The photo has been liked and retweeted thousands of times.
What made the viral photo get more attention was all the other girl dads who shared how they became the canvass of their child for makeup or even nail polish.
It started as a Christmas gift.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the Ohio dad, Brad Cubbie, shared that the makeup kits of his daughters were what they received for Christmas.
Cubbie told his children, "You don't need makeup. You're so pretty without it." However, his wife told him that "It's just for fun."
Cubbie has two girls, Khloe who is already ten years old, and Braleigh, who is now six years old.
Then, there goes the trial.
After receiving the makeup kits, the Ohio dad's youngest daughter, Braleigh, asked for permission if she could do her dad's makeup.
All along, Brad thought that he would only get a light makeup, specifically a blush. However, he got it all wrong.
In the viral photo that Brad shared on Twitter, he said, "Welp...my daughters got make up for Christmas."
He posted a selfie showing a full-face makeup. He had eyeshadow, blush, and even lipstick!
Other girl dads followed suit.
After posting his now-viral photo, Brad received a lot of support from the other girl dads on Twitter.
One Twitter user said, "Ain't no way around it when you're a girl dad bruh."
Another dad shared, "Got my own makeover earlier this year. These kids know how to pamper their dads!"
In another reply to the Ohio dad's tweet, one girl dad shared a video of his daughter doing his "ugly toes." The dad said, "You ain't alone brothers. She did my ugly toes. #RaisingQueens #DaddysDaughter #Fatherhood."
One dad even said that having a daughter do the dad's makeup is somewhat like the right of passage, "The official Girl Dad rite of passage. (laughing emoji."
As of writing, the tweet already has more than 36,000 retweets and almost 600,000 likes. Around 10,300 Twitter users also replied to the viral photo.
The Ohio dad is happy.
Aside from being able to make his daughters happy by allowing them to do his makeup, the Ohio dad is also happy after receiving the replies and reactions of netizens. He said, "To see how many people it's reached and how many dads ... it's become a thread people really enjoy."
Because of the reception that he received, Brad was inspired to create an Instagram page that would document the adventures of his children.
