Drew Scott and Linda Phan delighted their fans when they shared pictures from their baby shower brunch over the weekend, according to a report by People magazine. Phan's photos included a close-up snap of a unique white cake with olive green and a floral layer on its top part.

Flowers and fruit surrounded the beautiful cake, with Phan and Scott seen smiling behind the sweet treat in one of her photos. The 43-year-old HGTV host and the 36-year-old podcast producer also posed next to a different cake in Phan's last photo, with the said treat having a few pieces missing.

Phan thanked her family for throwing the baby shower. She captioned the fun pictures she took at the event, writing, "Terrible at uploading pics .expert at eating cake!" Scott joined in the fun, uploading his own carousel on Instagram, which started with him sweetly kissing his wife's baby bump as she laughed.

Scott also wrote a fun caption alongside the photos he shared, "Teamwork: She drops food on her belly. I get to eat said food. Thanks for showering us with love, near and far!" Among the pictures that Scott dropped from the baby shower were a family snap and a group shot that included his twin brother Jonathan Scott and Hollywood actress Zooey Deschanel.

In the comment section, Jonathan posted a message to his sibling, "Can't wait for you guys to be the BEST mommy & daddy. You'll have plenty of family support." According to E! News, Drew and Linda waited a long time to have their first baby.

Fertility issues forced the couple to embark on a two-year journey that included in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments and intrauterine insemination (IUI). Scott and Phan finally received the news they had been waiting for last August, with their first child set to arrive this coming May.

Phan and Scott thankful for support during their fertility journey

The couple has been open about their arduous fertility journey to become parents, sharing in an interview with Reveal magazine the things they wish they have known before starting the difficult process.

Phan said in a video that when it came to IVF, she wishes someone had told her that there is such a supportive community for those undergoing treatments. Phan added that the support group was the thing she leaned into the most and the one she appreciated the most in this journey.

Scott echoed his wife's sentiment, "I had no idea how many people had really rough experiences getting to finally having a baby." Scott added that whether it was having to go to IVF or IUI or whatever else it might be, the more they realize a lot of people go through some pretty tough journeys. He said it helped build a community of support for people going through this process.
