Police sources revealed that the murderer who stabbed Queens mom, Orsolya Gaal, left a 'sloppy' crime scene, suggesting the suspect did not plan the gruesome attack. The killer stabbed Gaal in a frenzy in her Forest Hills home, puncturing her torso, arm, and neck 58 times.

He then stuffed Gaal's body in a duffel bag and dragged it less than a mile through the quiet neighborhood where she lived. The suspect then dumped the bag on the side of a road to be discovered the next day.

Police sources told the Daily Mail that dragging the bag left a trail of blood that they followed back to Gaal's home. They even compared the blood evidence that they found to a trail of bread crumbs.

Suspect left a blood trail five blocks from the home of Orsolya Gaal

With crime scene investigators working through the scene, gathering tips, and processing DNA evidence, sources said it is highly likely that they will find a match to the suspect through what was left in the house. Sources added that the suspect left a blood trail five blocks from Gaal's home.

Sources explained that is a clear indication that the murder was not planned at all, saying, "If you want to kill somebody, you try to make it a little cleaner, be a little more prepared. He didn't go with something to move her body. He took something from the house."

A source also said that he is sure with that kind of blood, there's lots of DNA there. The source believes the killer's DNA has got to be in that blood as it is not a clean scene.

New details have emerged regarding Gaal's murder, with a police source saying that the fugitive killer left behind a vital clue in the victim's home, a pair of blood-soaked boots. According to the New York Post, police are now running DNA tests on the boots that cops found in a trash can outside the garage of Gaal's Tudor-style house, where she was stabbed to death.

Gaal's handyman lover the focus of police investigation

A handyman who did work at Gaal's Juno Street home is being sought for questioning in the murder case. Sources said he had a fling with Gaal, but cops have not yet publicly identified him as a person of interest or a suspect for the brutal killing.

Sources have said that the 51-year-old victim went out to watch a show at Lincoln Center with her friends on Friday evening. NBC New York reported that Gaal then hung out at a bar in her neighborhood when she returned to Queens later that night.

A manager at the Forest Hills Station House said that the married mother of two walked into the bar at 11:24 p.m. and had her usual Moscow mule. Gaal then left alone around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.
