Kaley Cuoco had her father at every taping of her widely popular TV series, "The Big Bang Theory," for 12 years. Gary Cuoco apparently came to every single production of his daughter's show and he was in the studio to watch her work for all of the 279 episodes.

The actress recently sat with James Corden on "The Late Late Show" to share this tidbit about her dad. Kaley said that Gary even had a director's chair with his name on it on the set of "The Big Bang Theory" but he never sat on the chair and always stood at the back row to give his daughter a thumbs up whenever they finished filming.

The cast and crew of the highly-rated series were friends of her dad as well. Kaley said that having her dad at work made the weekly filming "very special" for everyone involved in the show.

"My Dad still misses our live tapings at 'Big Bang,'" Kaley told Corden, per Daily Mail.

Gary Supported Kaley's Love for Acting

"The Big Bang Theory" was on TV from 2007 to 2019 but Gary was supportive of Kaley's work as an actress even then. The 36-year-old star said that her father always took videos of her as a child. He would direct Kaley to smile, make a sad face, or be angry in front of the camera. She said she still has those tapes from her father.

As a famous celebrity, Kaley tries to protect her family's privacy on social media. However, in 2019, she shared a clip on her Instagram account featuring the surprise she and her sister, Briana, pulled off for Gary's 70th birthday.

Kaley also shared that her dad was ever-present in all of her tennis tournaments as a child. She almost played professionally before she got bitten by the acting bug. Gary was also a "horse show dad" when Kaley trained as an equestrienne.

Prior to becoming a TV star, Kaley was a commercial model and did a series of endorsements for Priceline. She played The Negotiator's Daughter in a series of TV ads with William Shatner as her dad. Their chemistry as father and daughter was so great that people actually thought Shatner was Kaley's real father.

The actress also had another work dad in the late comedian John Ritter. Kaley was a teenager when she starred as his daughter in "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter." The show, however, was only short-lived due to Ritter's heart attack in 2003. Over the years, Kaley never forgets to pay a tribute to Ritter on his death anniversary.

Kaley Cuoco Copes With Second Divorce

Meanwhile, Kaley was filming the second season of her new show, "The Flight Attendant" when she went through her second divorce from her ex-husband, Karl Cook. She was able to process the experience with the help of her younger sister who sent her the same text message every single day.

According to Cheat Sheet, Briana did not fail to remind Kaley that "everything will be OK" despite her divorce. She also got some advice and emotional support from Zosia Mamet, her co-star on "The Flight Attendant."

Kaley said that she does not know how she could have gotten through during the filming of their show if not for Mamet. It was her friend that helped her get up, get dressed, and get into the car so they can go to the set of their HBO show.

These days, Kaley is rumored to be dating Tom Pelphrey but the actress said she does not want to get married for a third time anymore.
