Marvel superstar Chris Hemsworth has revealed that his three children, India Rose, 10, and twins Tristan and Sasha, 8, have filmed scenes in the upcoming superhero flick, "Thor: Love and Thunder."
The proud father said that the kids "really wanted" to play parts in the film, alongside the children of his co-stars, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale, as well as the children of writer-director Taika Waititi.
In an interview with entertainment journalist Kevin McCarthy, Hemsworth said that the whole production became a "one-off fun family experience," and he was pleased to see his children having a great time on the set. But the Hollywood dad said that this doesn't mean his kids will be working as future MCU actors or child stars. He obliged because he wanted them to have a special experience on the set of their father's work.
"Thor: Love & Thunder" was filmed in Sydney, Australia, where Hemsworth had his start in the movies. However, his children with Elsa Pataky attend a school in Byron Bay on the Gold Coast, at least seven hours away from Sydney.

Natalie Portman's Anecdote about Chris Hemsworth
Speaking of school, Portman shared an anecdote about Hemsworth as a dad. According to the actress, Hemsworth tried camouflaging to avoid drawing attention during one school pickup. Portman's children, Aleph, 11, and Amalia, 5, with husband Benjamin Millepied, also go to the same school as Hemsworth's kids.
But Portman said it was hard for the other moms not to notice Hemsworth because "he's like a Greek god walking through," per People. The actress added that Hemsworth is very popular in his home country, so to see him ducking and hiding to avoid detection was like watching a "weird sitcom of the superheroes at school pickup."
Hemsworth and his wife, also an actress, are very involved parents. When they are not working on the set, the couple volunteers at their children's school, especially when the staff is shorthanded.
In 2019, Pataky uploaded a video of her husband wrapping sushi rolls and storing them in containers for the school's canteen. They needed extra hands after an unfortunate incident in the school kitchen.
During the pandemic lockdowns, Hemsworth and Pataky struggled with homeschooling their children but soon got the hang of it after a few months. In an interview with Daily Mail, Hemsworth said the trick to homeschooling was enjoying and having fun being together. It helped that they were also able to slow down after flying all over the world for their work as busy actors.
Chris Hemsworth and his "Dad Superpower"
Hemsworth said that being fun is his "dad superpower," and as a creative person, he loves to indulge his children's vivid imagination. However, even if he has played a Marvel superhero for more than ten years, the actor said that none of his kids think his character, Thor, is the coolest.
One of his twin boys told him that he wanted to be Superman when grows up, to which Hemsworth quipped that he's lucky he still has two other children.
