According to the news report, a father and his 2-year-old daughter were kicked off a Frontier Airlines flight traveling from Orlando, Florida, bound to Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, August 7.

Chrisean Rose, the Atlanta father, said in a statement posted on his Instagram account that the flight attendant removed him and his daughter as his child was crying and wanted to sit in his lap but the staff insisted that the 2-Year-Old must be sitting on her own seat or the aircraft will turn around and kick them out.

The father bought a ticket on three airlines this past weekend for a quick trip to Orlando but on each of those flights, his child was sitting on his lap. The two-year-old had never flown before which made her terrified during the flight and thankfully he didn't experience any difficulty while flying to Florida as the attendants were understanding, accommodating, and rational humans and allowed his daughter to sit in his lap when she got scared.

According to the father, it was meant to be a weekend trip to the happiest place on Earth, but their happiness stopped when one airline didn't allow his daughter to sit on his lap during the flight and even threatened the father to have him arrested, per WSB-TV.

The father confronted the flight attendant on board

On Chrisean's return flight, the flight attendants gave the father and his daughter two choices, either she could sit in her own seat during the flight's takeoff or they may leave the plane. However, the father rejected the two choices given to him so they threatened him with arrest.

As a result, everyone was deplaned while the father and daughter were forced to get off. On the other hand, the Atlanta father soon found a return flight on Delta Air Lines in which her daughter, Rayana, was allowed to sit on his lap.

The footage of the confrontation between the father and the flight attendant was uploaded on Instagram. The video shows Rose talking with the flight attendant, who warns that he will be arrested if he does not obey the rules and policy. They were told that were breaking federal law and so they will be arrested. The father recorded as the attendants were threatening to arrest him while his 25-month-old daughter was in his arms.

The father argues that Spirit Airlines allowed her daughter to sit on his lap during the flight but the Frontier had a different reaction on the matter and remind the passenger that they are just following the guidelines provided to him.

According to KTLA, Frontier Airlines now reached out to the father regarding a refund.

Flight Attendants say there is a requirement they follow during flight

Rose acknowledged and understood that there are policies during flights but he is hoping that Frontier would have been understanding as babies do not understand the law and Rayana was just nervous and she needs comfort considering that she is still 2 years old.

Frontline Airlines released a statement regarding the issue and says:

"It is an FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) requirement that all passengers over the age of 24 months must be buckled into their own seat for takeoff and landing. The parent refused to comply and therefore was asked to exit the aircraft with the child," per New York Post.
