Sophia Grace (Brownlee), who first appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2011 when she was only nine years old, recently announced on Saturday that she's five months pregnant with her first child, People reported. She revealed and discussed her pregnancy journey in her YouTube vlog, where she admitted assuming that some of her fans would be very shocked at the news that she only had four months left to go in her pregnancy journey.
Brownlee said in an almost eight-minute clip that she's pregnant and was 21 weeks the day she released the vlog, adding she left it so long because she wanted to ensure that everything was fine and safe. The 19-year-old influencer revealed in the clip that everything was wonderful following her recent 20-week ultrasound to assure her fans.
She admitted that she was shocked when she first knew about her pregnancy, adding she got used to it. Brownlee said she's beyond happy about it and can't wait to share her journey with the public, noting she would definitely have a lot of different content from what she usually has.
Beyond happy to hear the child's heartbeat
The "Girl in the Mirror" singer said she initially felt very sick and nauseous for a long time at the start of her pregnancy. The singer's delayed announcement about the baby, whose gender she knows but will reveal in a separate video, was held off until she felt comfortable. As of the moment, the singer's baby bump was not yet big enough for her pregnancy to be visible. Hence, despite the small bump, she told fans she couldn't express how happy she was when she first heard her child's heartbeat, amazed by the fact that she had another life inside her.
Brownlee first appeared on television in 2011 when she and her younger cousin, Rosie, now 16, guested on Ellen for a performance of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass." The two went viral due to their video and soon appeared on the daytime talk show for an online video that now has more than 55 million views on YouTube, where they also did the same act.
Before the Ellen DeGeneres Show ended in May, the viral teens returned to the stage to perform the song that made them famous. Between their first appearance and final, the two have appeared on the program more than 30 times in the last ten years.
Rosie says her cousin will be an amazing mom
Rosie McClelland admitted she was shocked to hear the news, adding she literally froze but soon burst into tears as her cousin showed her the scanned photo. The "Safe in Your Love" singer says she's very happy for her cousin and knows she will be an amazing mom, as she's always been great with kids. The "Handstand" singer added that her cousin also has a supportive family around her to help, and she will be there every step of the baby's.
The "Ready for Love" singer said she couldn't wait to meet the baby and buy it loads of adorable clothes. "So excited for this new chapter for her and all of us," per ENews.
