Fans of the dark knight and the man of steel, great news!. A synopsis for the highly-anticipated movie “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” has surfaced.
The synopsis can be read in the Odeon Cinemas' website. As Odeon Cinemas is one of the United Kingdom's biggest movie chains, Comic Book Movie says that it could be possible that they just made it up, or it's ultimately official. Although that remains to be known, details included in the reveal seem pretty possible, and not just plucked out from nowhere.
Here's the synopsis according to the site:
“At long last, see Batman and Superman square off against each other in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice', an epic superhero showdown which will change both their lives forever.
Clark Kent doesn't trust Gotham's mysterious masked vigilante. Bruce Wayne doesn't trust the alien who nearly destroyed Metropolis. And Lex Luthor, who hates Superman more than anyone, is manipulating both of them for his own twisted ends.
Choose your side: the Man of Steel or the Dark Knight? Learn the answer to the age-old question - who would win? - in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice'.”
At last, there's some detail regarding Lex Luthor's possible involvement in the upcoming clash. People have been thinking that somehow, Luthor will be somehow manipulating the two heroes to fight each other. The synopsis reveal seems to confirm what DCEU fans have been thinking.
ScreenRant reports that although fans knew that Luthor is a villain, and although trailers gave some clues about what his role in the movie will be, no one still knows the extent of what he's actually going to do.
Long time fans of Superman (Henry Cavill) have known that the two have been at odds for quite a while, but here Luthor is seen to be manipulating even Batman (Ben Affleck) himself. What could Luthor possibly do? It still in unconfirmed as of now, however, the actor portraying the role could give fans an idea.
Speaking of his role as Luthor, Jessie Eisenberg, told Total Film Magazine that he will be “condescending” to at least the Batman:
“It’s strange acting with people like Ben Affleck, having to condescend to someone like him,” Eisenberg joked. “Off set, you’re thinking of this person in reverential terms, and then on set I condescend him, really quite nasty…”
This will be good, along with a serving of Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman" and Jason Momoa's "Aquaman" when the movie comes. “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” releases in theaters on March 25, 2016.
