Anna Faris sat down with HuffPost Live on Thursday, Jan. 21 and talked about her son Jack and how motherhood changed her life. During the interview, the actress also gushed about her husband, Chris Pratt.
Anna and Chris welcomed their bundle of joy in 2012, but although it was a blissful moment for the couple, the 39-year-old actress admitted that she realized being a parent is not that easy. For the first years since she gave birth to Jack, she had a hard time of balancing her career and being a mother.
"Your identity changes," Faris explained. "You are now a mom, sort of the most important job in the world, and the pressure and the guilt and all the things that are sort of wrapped up in that, I don't think anyone can prepare you for."
She then went on to say that becoming parents made her and Chris learned about living life "selfishly." In fact, she revealed that they are endlessly discussing whether to continue raising their son under the limelight or just give him a normal life.
The actress then gushed about her husband, she said aside from the fact that Chris is her "soulmate" that totally changed her perspective about love and marriage, Anna said he is totally a "great dad."
"He's strict," the comedian revealed." "But he's also incredibly fun, incredibly loving." "It's so amazing to see that moment that Chris comes home from work and Jack is like, 'Daddy!'"
"He's humble, and he's a great leader, and he's an incredible father and a great husband," Faris added.
Anna Faris and Chris Pratt first met in 2007, shortly after dating, the couple announced in 2008 that they were engaged. On July 9, 2009, the pair exchanged vows in Bali, Indonesia. The Hollywood couple then welcomed their son Jack on Aug. 25, 2012.
