Sriracha2Go Makes Fans Of The Spicy Sauce Happier By Creating Sriracha Packets

Sriracha may not be as trendy as it was once before but it still remains to be the go-to hot sauce for many. Its cult following, which started to grow in the 1980s, always keeps bottles at home, at the office and in the car. Some extreme sriracha lovers even always have their keychain dispenser with them at all times.

While fans of the spicy sauce do not actually mind lugging around a big bottle or refilling their trusty keychain, an easier way to make sure they do not forget their favorite condiment has just been introduced-the packet. Now, people can simply grab them on the go or place them in their pockets to make sure that they can have their sriracha fix anytime and anywhere they want, as reported by CNN.

Kyle Lewis and Farbod Deylamian, whom people can thank for the keychain bottles, Sriracha2Go, have partnered with Huy Fong Foods for the hot sauce packets. The to-go packets can be bought online at sriracha2go.com. 50 packets cost $14.99 while 200 packets cost $34.99.

There is still no word as to whether Huy Fong Foods and Sriracha2Go will team up with restaurants and retailers. However, according to Time, Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, who recently partnered with Lewis and Deylamian, has urged customers to look out for the sriracha packets at fast food chains, restaurants, stadiums and even campuses.

And while many on the product's Facebook page have expressed their excitement and commented on how genius of an idea it is, there are some who are not taking the news well. Some are questioning why the condiment was allowed to be sold in packaging that isn't eco-friendly, with one user even telling Huy Fong Foods that this should not be the "sriracha game" they should be going for as they are "creating more garbage for the landfill."
