A new Skyjacked map was featured in the newly-released teaser of the much-awaited "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC. Several fans were surprised to see the familiar map that has a very huge resemblance with the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" Hijacked map.
Game Spot shared that the new Skyjacked map is set aboard a futuristic flying ship, which is said to be a reimagining of the Hijacked map that was set on a high-end yacht. Aside from the Skyjacked map, avid should expect three more maps including "Splash," "Rise," "Gauntlet" and a rumored Zombie map called "Der Einsendrachen."
With the partnership between Activision and Sony, the first pack of the "Awakening" DLC is reported to be released on PlayStation on February 2 before launching it to PC and Xbox. Xbox and PC gamers, on the other hand, should not worry since the "Awakening" DLC will be launched to these platforms few weeks after the PlayStation release.
The second pack of the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC is said to be released last week of March or on the first week of April. Fans should expect the third pack to arrive on May or early June, while the last pack will soon be debuted on August.
With regards to its price, each "Awakening" DLC pack costs $15. However, for gamers with a tight budget, they can just purchase the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Season Pass to enjoy all the four map packs and the Zombie map for only $50.
Gamers who are planning to play the game all-year round is recommended to buy the "Black Ops 3" Season Pass. Available on both PC and console, one can pre-order it through Amazon and other official retailers and partners.
Meanwhile, one sad news for some gamers is the "Awakening" DLC is not yet confirmed to be available on older versions of PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The game developer has yet to release a statement regarding this matter.
