Apple might be ditching its headphone socket for good because of the new software update. This will also mean that the classic headphones will not be functional in the future.
A major iPhone jailbreaker located a code that said "Headphones.have.%sinput.NO." in the iOS 9.3 beta software, according to Metro This only means that the headphone jack won't be visible for the next iPhone models.
Reports have claimed that not all iPhone users are happy with the news. Some users have said that they will be forced in changing and upgrading to a pricier head phones just for this update. Companies have also said that there will be a 50/50 effect on the market as they will be producing new headphones from scratch.
By ditching the headphone jack, iPhone users will have to activate and plug their headphones via Bluetooth or Lightning Port. Wireless connection isn't new to the market after all; in fact companies such as Sony and Phillips have already produced high-end headphones in the market, which both include Lightning connectors.

Makers from the smartphone firm have claimed that this Li-Fi technology is 100 times faster than WiFi. With such speed, a user can possibly download an HD movie in seconds.
