Anne Hathaway was all smile and proudly showed off her baby bump as she hit the red carpet at the LA Convention Center on Wednesday, Jan. 27. The expectant was there to attend the Los Angeles Fine Art Show's 2016 Opening Night premiere party.
All eyes were on the actress as she hit the premiere with a 1960s-inspired, black-and-white dress that accentuated her growing belly. The actress completed the look with high-heeled black sandals and a metallic clutch bag.
Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman hosted the event -- having St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as the beneficiary. "After I saw it firsthand [St. Jude Children's] I knew that my life had changed and that I would do anything to help those kids and their families, and I would do anything to support this cause,'' the actress told PEOPLE.
Netizens began to speculate about Hathaway's pregnancy after the actress supposedly showed signs of a baby bump in September. But the actress and her husband remained mum about it.
However, Anne surprised everyone when she posted on Instagram her baby bump in a striking red bikini a few weeks ago. ''So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me,'' the actress wrote. ''But just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed.''
Her message went on to read, ''I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least, be an image that makes me happy ... and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter [smiley]."
It is still unknown when will the baby will arrive, but it is evident that Anne is having the best time of her life. And both parents are definitely getting excited for the arrival of their child.
