Jenelle Evans has been part of the hit series Teen Mom 2. During the airing of the show, the star somehow mentioned that her biological father isn't a part of her life but she never ever revealed the reason behind.
Now, Evans finally opened up about her estranged father for the first time. In her blog, titled Daddy Issues, she revealed that she hasn't seen her dad at all since she was a little girl.
"A lot of people ask and wonder about my biological father; where he is, why isn't he in my life," the MTV star wrote on Monday, Feb. 1. "My mother and father never got along, and I don't remember, but there was always arguing and physical altercations in my household growing up."
Evans then went on to say that despite the family drama, she has a lot of fond memories with her estranged father. For one, they like driving around town in the car while listening to rock music. She also revealed in her blog that her dad is a talented singer and used to be part of a band, called Chevy Chase.
But although his father had good qualities, Evans said that her father never got along well with her mom, Barbara Evans and with her other siblings. By the time she turned about five or six years old, she said her mother packed all of their things and they went to South Carolina. Her mother met another guy and married eventually.
Evans also admitted that she is still hoping to see her father once again and have a heart-to-heart conversation with him. The mother of two also revealed that she will release a book soon, where she will detail all of her family drama and the real reason why her dad disappeared in the picture.
"Maybe one day we will reconnect once again," Evans wrote. "Love you daddy."
