Jennifer Love Hewitt is blossoming into pregnancy, but announced Thursday that she has decided to put her wedding on hold, according to People Magazine.
The 34-year-old actress got engaged to Brian Hallisay in July after learning that they were expecting their first child together, but she has now decided to postpone the wedding plans until after her baby has been born as she wants to be back to her pre-pregnancy weight on her big day. The "Client List" star confirmed there is no trouble in paradise for this pair, they just want to wait for the birth of their baby.
Speaking to People magazine at Pampers Love, Sleep and Play campaign in New York, she said: 'I'm not putting that [the wedding] on myself also! We're going to wait. I'm going to get down and be cute again and then we'll be ready to go.'
"I think most people, when they're getting ready to be a mom, they go, 'Oh my gosh, I have to have all of the answers right now,'" she told Us Weekly. "But every kid is different, every parent is different and every child and parent relationship is different, so you just sort of have to wait until you're in it and do the best that you can to try and be Zen in the middle of it all."
While Hewitt isn't stressing over how to be a mother she has had to deal with the minor inconveniences associated with being pregnant.
"Sometimes it's been tough to adjust to weird little things," she explained laughing, "like your hips go numb at night so you have to keep switching sides, and I started making old lady noises as I walk down the stairs. You know, things like that."
